Hello! I am currently working on a very big project and I ran into an issue. I am using table.insert to insert a table inside an already existing table. Then, I use JSONEncode on the table so I can read it and not have it in a weird, unreadable format. With all of that said and done, I set a string value's Value to the table. The value now says "[[INFO HERE]]" which means I can't pull / read the data inside of it (via script) without getting "nil". The method I tried was"print(TABLE[1])" and I didn't get the information I'm looking for and got "nil" in result. If there is a way to either read the information without the need of segment removal then that would be appreciated, but if there is a method that includes the removal of certain characters within the value then that works as well. Thank you, all solutions appreciated!

Imagine trying to help someone with a script by them describing what their script does like a story rather than providing the actual script.

Imagine wasting your time writing a salty response to a question you don't know how to answer. There's obviously no script to provide and I even gave the needed information to formulate an answer to.

What do you mean there is no script to provide? What is that table.insert inside of?

You need to provide the script if you want us to help you with the script...

the table.insert inserts a table into an already existing table that's empty.

table.insert runs inside of a script. We need that script in order to provide you with a fixed script.

the only thing table.insert is being used for is to make a table full of what i need for my game which then gets put into a string value. table.insert as i said is used to add more than one set of data to 1 table in its own table. The value then gets set to [[INFO HERE]] and I have no way to read what inside the second bracket set, in this case "INFO HERE". Hope that cleared some of it up

I recommend using roblox's given Datastore rather than JSon... even though JSon is faster, it makes a very slight difference, just save a dictionary to Datastores and load it back...
