How would I create a TTS system?

Why don't you just speak and upload it then use it for your fire department game or get a free model... There are AI's that work with a TTS system... It takes 2000 lines of code though...

I was thinking about how this would be done a month or so ago. If you mean TTS with every word the player says, that's going to be quite difficult. One option would be having a database of every word and the audio for it, but this wouldn't sound natural and it would be a very large file. Close to impossible to make. With roblox audio as well, thats a LOT of audio to have. There's a bunch of other

ways of doing it like machine learning and matching syllables to make sentences (i don't remember the logistics of it, read an article on line about it if you're interested)

if you just want to have a couple commands the player can say like in csgo, that's doable. how would you want the player to do tts? the game recognizes chat and plays the audio?

by pressing hot keys? both of these are doable
