Character Customisation, Character in screen?

hi, i am currently making a character customisation screen and i have the customisation stuff, and i have a camera manipulation script i was just wondering how i would go about getting the character to stand in front of the menu when customising (sorry i don't really know whats its called.) and then the players model would spawn at the spawn point? thanks
