I'm currently working on a gun with client-side hit detection. I plan on making it so if it hits, I send it to the server to verify. However, I can't think of a way to send the information securely. If I simply send (playerHit, hitPos), I would be able to easily verify, but hackers could easily send a player plus that player's position to damage them. Does anyone have a way to either verify the info on the server somehow or have a different method for sending the info?

I think the only 100% secure way of doing it is to fire a remoteevent every time the player shoots(doing calculations on the server)
Again, that isn't secure since a hacker can fire the RE with info that would count as a hit.
