How do I interact with a NPC using a keybind script?

Hi, I'm making a simple adventure game and I want to make the player interact with a NPC using keybind ( like press e to talk ) ,I was trying to find a tutorial on YouTube but couldn't find any tutorials where the players responds to the NPC, thank you.
