"Click" fires following a full click. "Down" fires when the mouse button is pushed down but not released.

When would I use one of these over the other?

"Down" can be used to detect holding down a mouse button. "Click" can't. Otherwise, there isn't really much to it.

The difference is : when u use MouseButton1Click, the function loads when u click mouse and when u use MouseButton1Down, the function loads when u put mouse on the button.

When u want to create a button on gui, use MouseButton1Click most because is great for button clicks!

Button1Down fires as soon as the player pushes their mouse down to click, while MouseButton1Click fires when the player both pushes down and lifts their click on the button.
