Think catalog heaven, how do they get every item in the catalog imported to their GUI? They surely can't have hard scripted every item. What function should I use to do that?

How do catalog GUIs get their catalog items to their GUI?

They use a lot of decals, then when you click on the button to wear it it used the ID from the catalog, then they save it onto a character with Datastores.
