So i know a lot of people uses a script to add something like a value to Player's character, I personally use StarterCharacterScripts to add anything I want, (and it always works), so I just wanted to know if there is any advantage using a script instead of StarterCharacterScripts to add Instances to player's character. (im specifically looking for the fastest way)
Should I use StarterCharacterScripts or PlayerAdded?

Every time that I've gone to make a leaderboard, I've always used ServerScriptService. I personally have never used StarterCharacterScripts , however, I have used StarterPlayerScripts. The only reason that I would use that folder would be connecting a players mouse without a tool, or anything that only a local script can do. I feel that this makes my studio more organized, and I feel like StarterCharacterScripts is not intended to be used to make leaderstats, but rather things that are actually related to the character (different from the player). To answer your question, no way would be faster as, to my knowledge, roblox executes most of the scripts before the player actually loads in. The real detriment would be the organization (or lack of it).

i'm 300000000% that StarterCharacterScripts are for scripts, and not adding instances. just a thought.
