Hello!
I'm in the midst of creating a somewhat case clicker game, which inevitably requires a lot of crates with different items and with the way I'm doing things at the moment, it can become a bit tedious to add the items.
I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction? I'm thinking about creating a plugin of some sort that can edit the script's source, allowing you to add items easily - give a name and a rarity, and it'll pull the id (if possible) from the catalogue.
My issue lies with the formatting and string manipulation itself, an example of how everything works is here:
Crates.Crates = {
Accessories = {
["ROBLOX Accessory Crate"] = {
Series = "#001";
Items = {
"Example Item 1";
};
Key = "Regular Key";
};
};
}
Crates.Items = {
Accessories = {
["Example Item 1"] = {
Rarity = "Ultimate";
Id = "001";
};
["Example Item 2"] = {
Rarity = "Godly";
Id = "002";
};
["Example Item 1"] = {
Rarity = "Elite";
Id = "003";
};
};
}
Would anyone have any resources on hand that I could use? I could do a Google search, but I really have no idea where to start.
Cheers in advance!
