I am making a game, and I need the players to vote on a map. I have tried to think of how to do it, but I have no idea. Can anyone help me?
How do I make a map voting system?

You'd need to know how to create GUI's. You can use this with the Chatted event, but I find GUI's easier. Once you know how to design your GUI and textbuttons, you'll need a round script with a voting function. Inside that function, you could use a for loop to distribute the GUI that would be in Lighting or whatever to everybody in the game. Inside each button for each map, you would have it add 1 to a Numerical Value that could be in Lighting or whatever. Now, good luck on scripting. If I made this for you, you wouldn't learn.

Thanks! But do you have any advice on how to figure out which of the values has the highest value? That is the part that confuses me the most.
Well, you could just compare them. Say for example, you defined the variables a,b, and c to lead to the Value of a numerical value. Then, you'd set up this "if( a>b) and (a>c) then elseif (b>a) and (b>c) then elseif (c>a) and (c>b) then end" Get the idea?
You can probably use magnitude to count up votes... :-/
I learned how to use magnitude from ScriptOn on YouTube. But this is not a request site, so you'll need to put some effort at converting the script into a vote counter.

Don't worry lol I can do it, and thanks so much for the link! :D
Oh, btw Shawnyg put up a Community Moderation for this question to be locked on the grounds of not being constructive, just a FYI. You can probably have it removed since you were asking how you would go about making a voting script rather than requesting the script itself.

This is not a requesting website. ~Good luck on your script.
^ Well I guess that is true. May be I can figure it out on my own
