I am trying to make a leaderboard that will show the distance traveled per player (that works with vehicles)

i have good plan:
we can derive distance by having a function that multiples the speed(absolute velocity) of the vehicle by the time it was travelling(say, from start of a player's input to the end of it) and keep adding the product to a value every time, instead of directly measuring the distance travelled.
