Well, it is not that easy. Because, if you want to add Gui's to the CoreGui, you must think about what you want to remove, and what you want to add. You can simply add a local script in the startergui, and add the following script (if you want to remove them)
(If you want the packpack to be removed):
local startergui = game:GetService('StarterGui')
startergui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Backpack, false)
(If you want the chat to be removed):
local startergui = game:GetService('StarterGui')
startergui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Chat, false)
(If you want the playerlist to be removed):
local startergui = game:GetService('StarterGui')
startergui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.PlayerList, false)
(If you want the emotesmenu to be removes):
local startergui = game:GetService('StarterGui')
startergui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.EmotesMenu, false)
(If you want all the be removed):
local startergui = game:GetService('StarterGui')
startergui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.All, false)
Then, after you have removed that, you can simply add a Gui up to where you want it to be. It is that easy.

you dont parent it to core gui, parent it to startergui instead
But when I parent it to the startergui it's not in the topbar. It's under it then.
