Does anybody know how to make an image load in properly?

Okay so basically I'm making a system where you put an ID in a TextBox and it'll load an image, and everything around that is fine, but whenever I put the ID for the image in through script, it doesn't like it and it doesn't load, but when I put it in through Studio, it loads fine, although I've noted that it alters the number, however the amount subtracted is inconsistent - sometimes it gives me a reduction of 3, other times it gives me a reduction of 7.
