My goal is to create a single-part "character" that the player can control upon firing some event. (The parts represent vehicles.) Local scripts typically cannot edit physical properties directly as long as the workspace's filtering is enabled, so I was curious to find out how Roblox characters function without utilizing remote events. I've read the entry on network ownership on the wiki; does giving ownership of a part to a client allow for this bypassing of the filtering system?
