Hi!, how can you use roblox GUIs as input or output streams; ex1: so if i was using lua outside of roblox, and i do this

pretend we have a folder with a lua file, and a text file file named "outputFile"

io.output("outputFile.txt")
io.write("hello world");

so the above will simply just put - or output in other word - "hello world" to the text file named "outputFile.txt"; which means when we open the text file in a text editor, it should contain text that says "hello world" and thus called an "output stream". so my question is, since we don't have manipulable files in Roblox, can we use GUIs as an input/output stream? or is there a standard way to do it?

ex2:

local gui = --directory of GUI;
io.output(gui);
io.write("Hello, world");

so i would think that the above will simply just output "Hello, world" to gui.Text, but does it ?

Thanks

io library is disabled in roblox so u can't do this stuff with it.
