Hello, I'm new here. I'm trying to make a restaurant game and I'm currently making the ingredients for the food. I was told that I can't anchor the ingredients used to make entrees (appetizers, desserts, etc. as well) is this true?

You need to provide more information about what you're trying to do. If you anchor them, the character will not be able to pick them up. If you intend to make a clone of the ingredient when touched and put it in the characters' hands while leaving the original on the counter, then anchoring is fine. Just be just sure to unanchor the new parts.
