So I'm working on a ccustom Third Person mode, but I'm having some problems with it. It works by locking the player into first person, then offsetting the humanoid camera and changing the local transparency of the character's parts. However, this seems to cause a lot of stuttering on the character when jumping sideways. I also want the camera to orbit around the player when looking up/down (NVM I figured this out). I would like to know if there is a better way to go about making a third person cam, or how to improve on my current one. Here's my script

local runService = game:GetService("RunService") local plr = game.Players.LocalPlayer local char = plr.Character local camera = workspace.Camera local mouse = plr:GetMouse()

camera.FieldOfView = 70 plr.CameraMode = "LockFirstPerson" char.Humanoid.CameraOffset = Vector3.new(2,0.5,3)

wait(1)

for i,v in pairs(workspace:FindFirstChild(game.Players.LocalPlayer.Name):GetChildren()) do

if v.ClassName == "MeshPart" or v.ClassName == "Part" then v.LocalTransparencyModifier = 0 end

if v.ClassName == "Accessory" then v.Handle.LocalTransparencyModifier = 0 end

end
