So my question is can you have a player elevated lets say 1 stud off the ground when they are on a certain part while maintaining its physical proprieties. So if a part has properties that make it seem 'slippery' and the player thats on the part is elevated and continues to walk 1 stud of the ground can they still get the feeling of the 'slipperiness.' And once the player is off the part they would be able to walk normally on the ground. Is it possible? If so what steps would i need to take to do it? im a newbie scripter go easy on me >.<

You can accomplish this with Y velocity:
local part = script.Parent
part.Velocity = Vector3.new(0,10,0)
Y velocity is vertical, so whatever is affected by the velocity is moved upwards or downwards.

Uh... Have you tried this yourself?
There is two ways you could do this... 1. You could add a invisible part on top of the certain part. 2. You can weld a part to the humanoidrootpart and then lower it under the feet. Please do more research before asking!
