I want to have an building which can be moved, and I don't know if welding works. What I want to happen is if I move an part it would move the parts it is welded too. Does this work? But with other attachments?

Yes they should work. Make sure the parts are not anchored.

Then, the two parts both won't move, because the parts are welded together. You would have to break the weld to.

It should, as long as none of the parts are anchored
