I've been trying all of yesterday but to no result.
function Clicked()
local sp = script.Parent
local spp = script.Parent.Parent
local c = script.Parent.Parent.Frame.Chat
sp.TextTransparency = 1
sp.BackgroundTransparency = 1
spp.Handgun.TextTransparency = 0
spp.Handgun.BackgroundTransparency = 0.55
spp.Shotgun.TextTransparency = 0
spp.Shotgun.BackgroundTransparency = 0.55
spp.Placeholder.TextTransparency = 0
spp.Placeholder.BackgroundTransparency = 0.55
c.Text = "S"
wait(0.01)
c.Text = "Su"
wait(0.01)
c.Text = "Sur"
wait(0.01)
c.Text = "Sure"
wait(0.01)
c.Text = "Sure."
wait(0.01)
end
script.Parent.MouseButton1Down:Connect(Clicked)
I have this script but when I click it in game, nothing happens. Also there is no output in the output bar. Final edit, but it's a local script and all.

yes, i know the way im scripting is very bad
Check your Output, it'll tell you why. Top Bar > View > Output > Run game
Forgot to say, but there's no output
Script or LocalScript and its location?
LocalScript, and it's in the button that seems to be unresponsive
Add prints every other line or so and see where it's sticking. Make sure the function is even firing.
Alright
I think it's a bug with the function, as it didn't print anything at all
The thing is, it was working at one point then one time I playtested it and it didn't work at all
What's your hierarchy look like? ie. StarterGui > ScreenGui > TextButton > Your LocalScript. It's an obvious fix, but make sure you didn't disable the script.
I checked it and it's not disabled
