Check when a variable value changes?

How can I check when a variable's value changes? For instance, if a boolean changes from true to false and I want to connect that to an event.

I Know about BoolValue's and other kind of Value's that have a .Changed event

However; I am talking about strictly variables only.

It isn't possible.

You could always do something similar to this.

local var = false;
local last = var;

var = true;
print(var)

if (var ~= last) then
    print(last);
    last = var;
end

This is an option if you absolutely have to do it. I am sure you can find some other alternative to this. This is just a quick and easy fix to your problem.
