So, my game has a menu/loading screen as the main game, and then once you press play it sends you to a template place where you can build and save your own creations.
How can I detect if the game is a template place? I use a big script that is glitching out because I can't detect if it's a template place or not.
For a specified example, how can I check if the game is allowed to do "SavePlaceAsync()"

You like it but do you know the answer?
Is there a problem with using PlaceId?
Well template places have the same place ID as the place that gets created and saved. So no.
i dont or i'd gladly help you out, im curious what the solution is.
I'm pretty sure they don't have the same place id. They use the origin place id to make a duplicate place, but the template place has it's own id.
I don't even need the ID, as it's different for every game. Maybe pcalling "SavePlaceAsync" works.
every place*
