I keep seeing (Postion - pos) come up in scripts, but I have no idea what pos is. What is it and why would I use it?
COMMUNITY QUESTION
What is pos?
1 answer
Usually "pos" is a name of a variable about Positions, normally it used with another target position.
Example:
local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local mouse = player:GetMouse()
local target = mouse.Target
local pos
local pTarget = game.Workspace:FindFirstChild(target.Parent.Name) -- Detecting target player from one of his own part
pos = pTarget.Torso.Position
print(pos)

They post likely have a variable that defines to it some part's position.
