So I am making a pet game, and there are various foods that are littered around the game, when the player's pet successfully eats a food, it gets destroyed using :Destroy(), but I would like to have effects in place, so I would play a sound and some kind of particle to be enabled. However, since this item has been destroyed, it would not even play the sound unless I change the sound property so that it can play when removed, but I do not want this to play when a food is de-spawned.
So I came up with 2 different methods to get around this:
The first one is to simply make the food invisible and non collidable, and then play the effects that are already in the food and destroy the food itself when effects are done.
The second method is to clone these effects into food and play as normal rather than having every single part having their own individual effect instances.
Or is there a better way to do this?
