Didn't have enough room in the question to include this, but what I wrote didn't work.
HI!
I have a problem try to edit the Player's Character model. What I'm essentially trying to do is hide all of the characters body parts. (Torso, Head, etc) But it doesn't seem to be working, probably because where I placed the script.
I have all the key essentials to edit the character model correctly. I'm using a LocalScript, my code should be written correctly (I'm not too sure tho), but where I placed the script might be the biggest thing stopping the script from properly functioning. I put it in the StarterCharacterScripts folder, which I knew was obviously wrong. So where should I put the script?
And here's the code if you need it:
local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local character = player.Character
local character_children = character:GetChildren()
character:WaitForChild("ForceField")
character.ForceField:Destroy()
character:WaitForChild("Accessory")
character.Accessory:Destroy()
character.Humanoid.RigType = Enum.HumanoidRigType.R6
character.Head.Transparency = 1
character.Torso.Transparency = 1
character["Left Arm"].Transparency = 1
character["Right Arm"].Transparency = 1
character["Left Leg"].Transparency = 1
character["Right Leg"].Transparency = 1
character.Sound:Destroy()
character.Head.face:Destroy()
character.Humanoid.JumpPower = 0

if your game is filtering enabled it's going to have to be a normal script in workspace/serverscriptservice using events triggered from a local script to know the character.
I believe you can have server scripts in StarterCharacterScripts. Change the first line to local player = game.Players:GetPlayerFromCharacter(script.Parent)
