How do you make the Roblox character locked in FP but you can still move your cursor separately?

Have a TextButton sized at UDim2.new(1, 0, 1, 0) and positioned at UDim2.new(0, 0, 0, 0). Change the BackgroundTransparency to 1, and don't set Visible to false. Set Modal to true, this will allow you to move the cursor even if in first person.
