Here is my if statement that I am trying to run
if _G.LazerHeldTime <= 0 and _G.LazerCoolDownTime <= 0 and KeyHeld == "true" then
print("TestingIfWorking")
_G.LazerCoolDownTime = 10
script.Parent.Lazer.Disabled = false
else
print(player.character.Value.Value)
print(_G.LazerHeldTime)
print(_G.LazerCoolDownTime)
end
When I test, I get these prints:
true 0 0
And when I use the search feature in my logs on the client and server side, I can't find TestingIfWorking. What's going on with this?

Well for starters don't use _G, it's not a good idea security-wise. Also, without providing the code for _G.LazerHeldTime, _G.LazerCoolDownTime, and KeyHeld - there is no way we can help you since you have exempted these critical portions of code.
That's all a scrambled rats nest, but what you are saying is that some outside script is probably changing the variables?
No - what I'm saying is that you have exempted the necessary code for people to provide an answer to your problem. If it is not working then at least one of your conditions is not met.
You are right. For some reason when I looked at what to trim, I must of trimmed something in the if statement. Thanks for the help, got it fixed now
