A lot of LocalScripts and ServerScripts have variables, but I've seen variables use Local before it such as Local randomNumber = maths.random(1,10) and some variables don't use "Local". I've noticed that without "Local", the variable can be accessed anywhere within that script, surely that's a better option? Please correct me

"not local" is a global variable. You should always use local variables.
