not really best way is self learning, paid courses are also effective but they require money.

never pay money for a programming course unless it's an actual college class at a real not-for-profit university. all paid courses use free information online. they teach you how to be a skid, not how to be a computer scientist.

i recommend these people on youtube : alvinblox and peasfactory. i also recommend the roblox wiki
Alvinbloxx is horrible learning source. He spoonfeeds code and uses deprecated methods.
please do NOT start with alvinbloxx. he's a cool guy but his coding practices are nonsensical and people who watch his tutorials need a lot of help because they're not being taught to help themselves. read the wiki, read the api, read "Programming in Lua" (find a free pdf of volume 4), and most importantly: practice on your own. if you rely on youtube, you're not helping yourself
