I'm working on making a combat script for my game on Roblox. In it there will be different attacks that will be possible with the correct use of specific keybinds (space + attack = jump attack, sprint + attack = sprint attack, etc.) My problem is implementing animations. I want to make the script check some type of folder or table to receive a list of animations the script can take from and use accordingly. Before, I had a physical folder with physical animation instances inside the playercharacterscripts folder that the script will check for. That way if the player purchases a new animation pack with their in game money, the script can just switch the folders to the new and equipped pack. The problem is that since all the folders will belong to the client, what if a player just changed the animation ids? Is that possible, and should I try another method, or should I stay with physical folders?

Where should I store animation packs that my script can check for and use?

you could put them in ServerStorage, but that can only be accessed by the server which you could use remote events
as the client cant access ServerStorage
i was thinking that before... but wouldn't that be inefficient if you have to use remote events every time you change animation?
No. Play animations on the client, they replicate. Keep them in ReplicatedStorage.
