How do I make a fading in and out intro?

I looked up on youtube to find some answers but got nothing. I was wondering if any of you knew how to do this? Every time I try to do this the screen sits there and never fades in or out could you help???

You can change the transparency of the frame, textbutton, textbox, etc...

Here's how you can change the transparency of a Frame for a fade out:
