How do I make a timer and scoreboard for my game?

I'm trying to make a game about fighting with pitchforks and kicking each other off the platform. It would include rounds, and I'd need a scoreboard and a way of timing how many seconds the player is alive before they are pushed off. It would be above your head, kind of like those king-of-the-hill minigames. (Question about making a script)
