I have a Gui and a gui script
while wait() do
script.Parent.Text = ""..game.Workspace.Message.Value
end
but it did not work correctly! What I want it to do is to show the message, but it only worked for studio testing but not for real roblox why?
Example:
I use this script to change the Value of the message.
while wait() do
if script.Parent.Value >= 2 then
script.Parent.Parent.GameScript.Disabled = false
elseif script.Parent.Value < 2 then
script.Parent.Parent.GameScript.Disabled = true
script.Parent.Parent.Message.Value = "2 Players or more are needed to play a minigame!"
end
end
and I use the gui script above to change the gui text that the text that shows on the MessageBoolValue, It did work in studio but did not work in real roblox!!

As you can see above, it shows the message in studio, but when in real roblox:

As you can see now, when I am in real roblox it does not show anything.
here is another example
function Intermission()
for i = 10,1,-1 do -- Change 5 for the time interval of intermission
wait(1)
Message.Value = "Intermission: "..i.." second(s)"
end
end
function SelectMap()
for i = 1,#AllMaps do
if AllMaps[i]:isA("Model") then
table.insert(choices,AllMaps[i])
end
end
MapSelected.Value = choices[Picked].Name
Message.Value = "Minigame Selected: "..MapSelected.Value.."!"
end
Does this mean that I need to add a remote event??
*If you need more example or for script tell me in the comment.

Really depends on what kind of GUIs you're making. Some require just a LocalScript, and if you wish to perform actions like switching teams, respawning, (basically anything everyone in-game sees), then you'll need a RemoteEvent.
Hmm... Well, you shouldn't need a remote event... It seems like it should be working. Sorry if I am no help, but anyway, good luck on your game!
Do NOT use wait() as a condition. Use a Changed event instead actually.
