So I've been working for about an hour to weld a sword that I created to my Robloxians hand. However, the Sword is not oriented the way I would like it. I tried using CFrame to change up the angles, but the Models rotational Axis is not snapped onto the normal grid that everything else is, insteads it's very tilted. I have no idea if there is a way to realign the models axis, or how to get it the way I want in it's current state.
Server Script:
game.ReplicatedStorage.RemoteEvent.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player, la)
youngBoy = game.StarterPack["Full Sword"]:Clone()
youngBoy.Parent = player.StarterGear
weld = Instance.new("Weld", player.StarterGear["Full Sword"].Grip)
weld.Part0 = player.StarterGear["Full Sword"].Grip
weld.Part1 = la
weld.C0 = CFrame.new(0,0,0) * CFrame.Angles(2, 0, 1)
player.StarterGear["Full Sword"].Parent = game.Workspace
print("yellow")
wait(3)
game.Workspace["Full Sword"].Anchored = true
end)
Local Script
local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local char = player.Character
local hum = char.Humanoid
local backpack = player.Backpack
local name = player.Name
local rl = char["Right Leg"]
local ll = char["Left Leg"]
local tor = char["Torso"]
local la = char["Left Arm"]
local ra = char["Right Arm"]
local head = char["Head"]
wait()
game.ReplicatedStorage.RemoteEvent:FireServer(game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character["Left Arm"])
