I have a local script that is supposed to create a string value and put it somewhere. In studio, this works fine, however, in the real game it doesn't work. Is something wrong with the script? Do you guys have any other ideas on how to fix this?
script.Parent.MouseButton1Click:Connect(function()
print("sponsor started")
local a = Instance.new("StringValue")
a.Name = "spon"
a.Value = script.Parent.Text
a.Parent = game.ReplicatedStorage.Sponsored
local b = Instance.new("StringValue")
b.Name = "sponn"
b.Value = script.Parent.Parent.Parent.TextBox.Text
b.Parent = game.ReplicatedStorage.Sponsored.spon
game.ReplicatedStorage.sponsor:FireServer()
end)

It Studio's Play Solo mode, there is no separation of the server and client. This is why your script "worked" in studio. Do not post questions complaining about this as you now know why.
I never asked why my script worked in studio and not the real game, I asked if it was possible.
You complained about it not working in a server. It is possible, though it will only exist for the client that created the Instance.
There is no way to create it on the client, and make it visible to the server from the client. You have to create the value from the server instead.
Can I change the Value's value from the client and it will appear on the server?
