COMMUNITY QUESTION

I'm curious as to how I lock first person while simultaneously making their body visible?

I haven't tried any scripts but I was wondering if anyone could answer this.

Comment out the contents of the function 'module:update()' in PlayerScripts < CameraScript < TransparencyController. You might want to manually make your hats/head transparent, as they get in the way of the camera otherwise.

To make a part visible in first person, you need to use LocalTransparencyModifier, which is a property of baseparts. Then wrap it inside of a renderstepped loop:

local player = game:GetService("Players").LocalPlayer
player.CharacterAdded:Wait()
local character = player.Character
local camera = workspace.CurrentCamera
local runService = game:GetService("RunService")

player.CameraMode = Enum.CameraMode.LockFirstPerson

runService.RenderStepped:Connect(function()
	for i,v in pairs(character:GetChildren()) do
		if v ~= character.Head and v:IsA("BasePart") then
			v.LocalTransparencyModifier = 0
		end
	end
end)

Make sure its a local script in StarterPlayerScripts,
