COMMUNITY QUESTION

Why won't the Changed event fire for this StringValue?

Here is the code:

local labels = script.Parent.WeldedParts.Labels:GetChildren()
local Val = script.Parent:FindFirstChild("TxtVal")
Val.Changed:connect(function()
	print 'hi'
	for i, v in pairs(labels) do
			v.Value = (script.Parent.TxtVal.Value)
		end
end)

When the value of Val changes due to the player entering text in a TextBox (this works properly), the changed event doesn't fire. I know this because the output doesn't say "hi".

By the way, I only have this problem in-game/server test, not in the Play Solo test.

The reason for this is because you are changing it via a GUI is other words you are changing it locally. You have to have it fire a remote event to change it on the server.
