COMMUNITY QUESTION

How would I go about making a GUI that shows player's rank?

So I want the script to be like it shows a GUI with the rank. Nobody answers my questions so I'm going to ask until I get an answer. I just need the code and everyone wins.

I have a script here but it doesn't do anything.

local larm = script.Parent:FindFirstChild("HumanoidRootPart") local rarm = script.Parent:FindFirstChild("HumanoidRootPart")

function findNearestTorso(pos) local list = game.Workspace:children() local torso = nil local dist = 100 local temp = nil local human = nil local temp2 = nil for x = 1, #list do temp2 = list[x] if (temp2.className == "Model") and (temp2 ~= script.Parent) and (temp2.Name ~= script.Parent.Config.Owner.Value) then temp = temp2:findFirstChild("HumanoidRootPart") human = temp2:findFirstChild("Humanoid") if (temp ~= nil) and (human ~= nil) and (human.Health > 0) and human.Parent.Config.attackle.Value == true then if (temp.Position - pos).magnitude < dist then torso = temp dist = (temp.Position - pos).magnitude end end end end return torso end

while true do wait(1) local target = findNearestTorso(script.Parent.HumanoidRootPart.Position) if target ~= nil then script.Parent.Humanoid:MoveTo(target.Position, target) end

end

Can you use a code block please (the button with the lua logo)

First of all noone will write a full script for you. As stated, this is not a request website, you can only ask for help or advice, not for people to write scripts instead of you. The script you posted has nothing to do with the question. Only thing I can really give you now is some links for you to learn lua from.

lua manual wiki tutorials wiki tutorials

also this website to ask for help whenever you need, if you're stuck.
