So to make a long story short, my friends and I are making a hotel game. We are planning on having security, a bartender, and a receptionist. Basically, all I wanted to know is if anyone knew where we would start by making a jail system for security. We want it so there will be a small little jail cell near the hotel, and the players being punished would sit in the jail for whatever amount of time. Once the player has been arrested with handcuffs, it would come up with a panel where you can enter the reason why you put them in jail and how long they will be there. And if said player would reset, or rejoin the game, it would automatically put them back in the jail until their time is up.

I would start and just don't waste time on asking a question you know nobody is going to answer because this isn't a request site, what would you need to know? cframes, datastore, tables, how time works in roblox, filterstringasync as texboxes needs them or roblox will shut down your game,...
I would lock you in that jail cell for not following th guidlines of this website.
I know I made it sound like I was requesting something, but asking someone to do my work for me weren't my intentions. I was actually trying to share my idea so someone could better understand what I'm trying to do. All I wanted to know is if anyone knew where we would start by making a jail system.
I'm slightly new to coding, so all I wanted was just a slight guide.
http://robloxdev.com/ is a good guide.
