What happens if you change your character's walk speed from the client?

For example, I have a script that makes it so that when you double tap W your walk speed is changed to 30. (I can provide the script if you want but It works fine.) I use it in a FE game. The script in a local script in the player's backpack and accessed the humanoid with script.Parent.Parent.Character.Humanoid. Now, would the walk speed change only for me since character is descended from workspace? Would it not change at all since I should use a remote event? Or would it just update for everyone (a major security breach for my game.)

I'm just curious no need to give down votes

As I said I can provide the script but didn't see the need.

Yes, you can change the WalkSpeed of the character and it will replicate over to the server. You can test this by starting a local server with 2 players. You'll see that the player will have a different walkspeed if you set it with a local script.

Usually I handle things only the client would want to see like a moving part.

Something relevant I found on the DevForum today was this post. Scroll down to the part on Scripts and Local Scripts.

If my local script (which doesn't have remote functions) automatically replaces to server won't this make speed hacking easy on FE, thus rendering FE useless to defend against the usual hackers
