I apologize for the lack of an intricate title, I'm not the best at making those for questions. Anyway, This script functions normally but doesn't find an image when it receives a group published id. Theres no error but it never finds the actual image since a player uploaded it but the group publishes it. Is there a way I can incorporate that check into my script or do I need to find a whole new approach? This is my first attempt and I don't even know if using MarketplaceService is even an acceptable practice for somthing like this. Any help would be much appreciated.
The player inserts an ID into a text box and it takes that ID and finds the proper image ID. The newID and logoID are the same thing. It goes through checks to make sure that it is an actual number and not letters.
while true do
newID = tonumber(newID) - 1
local idName = game.MarketplaceService:GetProductInfo(logoID)
local newidName = game.MarketplaceService:GetProductInfo(newID)
print(idName.Name, "--", idName.Creator.Name)
print(newidName.Name, "--", newidName.Creatopr.Name)
print("---------------------------------")
if newidName.Creator.Name == idName.Creator.Name then
StudioImage.Image = "rbxassetid://"..newID
canContinue = true
break
end
end
if canContinue then
local assets = {StudioImage}
game:GetService("ContentProvider"):PreloadAsync(assets)
print("ID Successfully Loaded!")
canContinue = false
end

All this is inside an if statement that's located inside an event. All that was left out as for it is not important to this problem.
