What is the best way to change a non FE game to FE?

I have spent the last few months working on and off on a game, and I got it to work quite well, but unfortunately it is not filtering enabled. I know that FE games are more secure and that more players can search them up, but don't really know how to make the switch. The only scripts that would be effected are some short ones in the Starter GUI and a longer one in Starter player scripts (scripts in the character still run, right?)

I would love some tips on how to switch to FE or a pointer to a good website!

I know this is a bit off topic, but I don't really know where else to ask.

I can add some scripts if you need.

Some basic questions I need to know is if there is still a way to access the character from a script somewhere in the player and whether scripts in the GUI can be made to change things about GUI.

A list of things I do in scripts include changing the camera (game.workspace.CurrentCam) doing things in the GUI based on values in the character, calling the character's Parent (player.character.Parent), and cloning things from server storage, along with using local scripts to change parts.

It's quite simple actually, but it's more annoying since you have to convert. Converting is more complicated and will cause more problems unless you know what you are doing

Anyways, Roblox provides a perfect article for your situation here

##Converting Experimental Mode Games Into Filtering Enabled Games

This is such a very difficult task and you should do it one at a time. If you have a difficult time fixing something, that's what this site is for: asking questions!

##Remote Events And Remote Functions

Experimental Mode games work like this:

Whatever the client gives, the server accepts. This is called the client-server model This may seem innocent enough, however, if an exploiter, were to change a brick's color, it would replicated to the server.

To counter this problem, the server blocks everything from the client. Another problem arises: how would the server know that the changes you are doing is not an exploiter. To do this, you simply have to use RemoteEvents and RemoteFunctions

This is the property, filtering enabled, here

This is Remote Events and Remote Functions here

Remote Event API here

Remote Function API here

An example of a situation in an everyday programming life here

Hope this helps you in development!
