For example if I have a part with BodyGyro and BodyPosition, if the part moves and its edge hits off another part, its rotation will change regardless of the BodyGyro.

Use Touched Event

To do what?

Increase the power of the BodyGyro to maintain the orientation

Would that be .P?

Yup, and you might have to also increase the dampening (.D) a bit to make sure it doesnt overshoot its goal

I tried various values up to 1 million and it helped a bit, but it still moves. Setting it way higher than that causes the model to shake violently :(

Yeah, that would be what the .D is for. Try increase that to stop the shaking.

No matter how high I set the .P it still rotates. Guess I'll have to script a CFrame movement system instead. Thanks for the help anyway.

have you tried removing the body movers and re-cloning them?

0

They're inserted using a script when the model spawns.

i mean when they collide

you would use TouchEnded to re-clone the two movers

Good idea, I'll try that.
