Is this a ROBLOX Physics glitch[Title is too long]?

Here is question: Why is it, when you set a part's position and there is an object there(such as a tree or something..), why does it not stay in the position set? Is this a ROBLOX glitch that we cant fix, or is there a way to fix this. NOTE: the part is non collidable and anchored.

Another way of saying it.. When setting a part's position when there is an object nearby, the object completely overrides the part's position

If you don't believe me, do it yourself..

No clue what you are saying. A picture or a video would greatly help.

you mean how it goes up until nothing is in the way?

Use CFrame instead of Position.

Use CFrame instead of position

When you set the position of an object it will go upwards until nothing is blocking it.

when moving a model by CFrame, the model must have a primary part chosen

local model = --get model

model:SetPrimaryPartCFrame() -- insert CFrame in parenthesis
