How do I make a scoreboard on a brick that can be edited by myself?

I'm trying to make a screen with a scoreboard on a brick. I don't understand how to exactly change the text to my command using a GUI on my screen only.

For example

I use the GUI on my screen and type in 6 in the Home box. The scoreboard then updates the text for Home and it says 6.
