Yes, I know previous threads about this topic exist. They started me off, however I need more information on certain parts and am unable to find more information around what I need to know.

Hello all, I have a question hopefully someone can answer.

First, I would like to say a few things I already tried and talk about what I already know. I know how to set up a system for this, it's just the math part and positioning of sprites on the sprite-sheets that confuses me and also makes the result weird. Sprites will usually end up sticking out or changing their position weirdly because I can't figure out how to center it around one sprite.

I have compiled sprite sheets of 3d clip art gifs using websites and the sprite-sheets have equal positioning, or should have, between each other. It's just that I don't know much about pixels, source pixels, and other things like spacing between the images. I've tried using the ImageRectOffset and ImageRectSize properties and fiddling around with these.

If I attempt math and the sprite isn't exactly centered in the middle of the screen, the math will cause the sprite to look weird and bob up and down or have other sprites poking into the side of what should be a singular sprite. I've tried doing research on positioning of sprites manually in sprite-sheets to no avail. I've spent 2 days trying to figure this out and I still can't.

Could someone link me to some sources that could possibly help me out with the math part of this?
