Is there any difference (performance or other) between the three following formats of workspace?
game.Workspace -- game.Workspace.hiimapart
workspace -- workspace.hiimapart
game:GetService("Workspace") -- feel free to laugh hysterically at me

you covered up all of it I think. No the format does not effect the performance. However, 'workspace' is simple and you can type it quicker than the others
There's also
Workspace.hiimapart, but it's deprecated.I have never heard of that ^
