How do I use Color3 lerp?

Color3.lerp basicly finds an average of the two values and alpha affects that process. For your needs however, I would recommend TweenService as it allows you to gradually shift from one color to another.

How would I continuously and smoothly change the color of a light? I don't understand this much.
Create a Tween using TweenService. Once you tell it what you want it will change the color smoothly itself. More info on the wiki page
