COMMUNITY QUESTION

NPCs don't die when HP at 0, just kind of stand there?

Probably a newbie-sounding question, but whenever my NPCs HP hit 0, rather than dying, they just kind of... Stand there.

I haven't tested .Died with it yet, but is there a way to get them to die in a similar way to the Player's death? (i.e falling apart)

Turn off FilteringEnabled under Wokspace properties if it's on

... That sounds like a terrible idea. Why would I do that? FilteringEnabled makes it harder to exploit :V

FE has nothing to do with it

I believe that the problem is that your NPC is anchored, if you import an NPC using a plugin or free model this happends pretty often, unanchor every part (HumanoidRootPart too)

Sadly, all of the parts are already unanchored. I even tried setting the NPCs max HP to 0, and they didn't die.

That's actually normal that they don't die, roblox doesn't count 0/0 as dead it only counts as a dead when maxhealth is higher than 0 and health is 0 (still set as best answer if this works :))
