So basically, I made a script that creates values in LocalPlayer called "hasbooked", "foodbooked" and "drinkbooked". For a meal booking system.
"foodbooked" and "drinkbooked" are both StringValues and "hasbooked" is a BoolValue to check if the player has booked, I've made it so if the player has clicked on what food they want the text of the TextButton to book the food (food name) would make the "foodbooked" value change to the food they've booked. This works fine however I have an issue on how the person gets served the food they want.
I have another GUI that is like the admin's GUI and inside is a script that makes a list of all the players in game which works fine and upon clicking a player a value in the GUI called "nameHolder" (StringValue) get's changed to the button's text essentially getting the player's name that the person is serving. I have another TextButton which is supposed to give the player who booked whatever they booked so how would I go about finding the player that's in "nameHolder" in game.Players so the script get's the "foodbooked" value and searches the .Value part in ServerStorage (where the foods are kept) and then gives it to the player?
If you're confused about what I'm asking then just say, I got a bit confused writing this lol
